The Historic State Theatre is a classic 1920's Art Deco single screen cinema.  It is located in downtown Jackson,  a beautiful river valley town in southern MN.  We have 337 usable seat on the lower level of the auditorium and 150 in the balcony (currently unusable.)  We also have an original  Silver Screen which adds to the historic value of this gem.  We are fortunate that we have two store fronts which currently house a coffee bar, "Reggie's Cinema Barista,"  and a small taco restaurant, "Taco Depot."  These have both played a tremendous part in allowing us to continue with our passion of playing first run movies on a nightly basis.  Our show times are generally 7:30 nightly with a 3:00 matinee when their is no school.   Click here to see what movie is showing.

Reggie's Cinema Barista offers many beverage options such as smoothies, cappuccinos and Italian sodas to enjoy before, during or after the movie.

Hours are 6:30am till after last show ends!

Taco Depot offers a fast option for tacos, burritos, nachos... for dine in or carry out.

Hours are Mon-Sat. 10am-8pm (till 9pm Thur-Sat) and Sundays noon-?
